Megger EVX100 EV Charger Adaptor


The EVX100 is a fully integrated accessory for the MFT-X1, providing an automated test interface for single and three-phase Mode 3 AC electric vehicle charging stations (EVSE). Together, they eliminate the need for a traditional remote manual adaptor or control box. Once connected, the MFT-X1 automatically recognizes the EVX100 and provides the required testing options without manual intervention.


The EVX100 supports various EV charger testing options, all controlled through the MFT-X1 interface. The system is designed for single and three-phase testing with automatic control of Proximity Pilot (PP) and Control Pilot (CP) states. The MFT-X1 can identify all operational CP states (A, B, C, D) and their intermediate states (A1, A2, B1, B2, etc.).


Additionally, the EVX100 detects Protective Earth (PE) issues automatically, with feedback via the dual test buttons on the MFT-X1. The PE warning function is integrated into the MFT-X1, eliminating the need for manual touch buttons. Featuring a Type 2 charging plug, it automates the testing of IEC61851 and IEC62955 protective devices. When an RCD trips during testing, the EVX100 automatically resets the EV charger as soon as power is restored.


The instrument is compatible with all MFT-X1 units updated with the latest free firmware. The EVX100 is powered by a lithium-ion battery, features a USB Type-C charging port, and holds an IP54 rating for durability in outdoor environments.
