The MTR105 is a dedicated Static Motor Tester featuring Megger’s tried and trusted suite of insulation resistance tests (IR), combined with the traditional features and reliability expected from Megger testers.
 
The MTR105 builds upon the abilities of Megger’s proven IR test instruments by adding DLRO four-wire Kelvin low resistance, inductance, and capacitance tests. This provides a versatile motor tester packaged in a robust, handheld instrument—a combination that has previously been unavailable in the market.
 
Additionally, the MTR105 incorporates temperature measurement and compensation (for IR tests), motor direction of rotation, and supply phase rotation tests. These capabilities make the MTR105 a truly versatile, real-world motor test instrument. The unit is housed in an over-moulded case, providing increased robustness and an IP54 weatherproof rating.
