Megger VF-T5 Non-Contact Voltage Detector with IR Temperature
The Megger VF-T5 is Megger's first non-contact voltage detector with built-in IR temperature measurement. It has been designed to check for the presence of AC voltage indicated by a bright red LED situated within the white nylon tip, an audible sounder, plus a vibration alert. The detector has both low voltage (12V to 1000V) and medium voltage (100V to 1000V) ranges. The VF-T5 has the added advantage of a bright white LED torch for use in poor light.
The VF-T5 is suitable for identifying live conductors, finding a break in a conductor, or verifying a blown fuse while in circuit, as well as for detecting AC voltages at socket outlets, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, cables, and luminaires.
