The High Voltage Instruments (HVI) Live Line Tester (LLT) is a specialized safety instrument available for system voltages of 3.3kV, 6.6kV, 11kV, 13.8kV, and 33kV (50/60Hz). Constructed from high-quality fiberglass rods and durable polycarbonate moldings, the equipment is engineered for reliable performance in both indoor and outdoor environments, including wet weather conditions.
Compliance and Measurement
Designed to comply with the requirements of IEC 1243 Part 2, the LLT utilizes long-established techniques for accurate high-voltage measurement. All readings are displayed on an analogue meter. For maximum usability in the field, the meter housing can be rotated through 240 degrees, ensuring a perfect viewing position for the operator regardless of the testing angle.
Safety and Verification
To ensure absolute safety before use, the kit includes a battery-operated proving unit. This allows the operator to verify that the equipment is functioning correctly both before and after taking measurements on live systems.
